I think this picture is so amazing!! And I just would love to be able to make a cupboard like this.. If you made something like it please sent me links or teach me how to do it. I love the fact how the concrete floor is still visible... the shelf looks made of bleached wood. I don't need the house below where it is made but just this cupboard ... please

The counter looks like cement, way beyond my skills, but it is quite easy to make a shelf with concealed supports, and there are several ways.
The central idea is that the front edge of the shelf is deeper (from top to bottom) than the shelf itself, so if you screw 1" x 1" supports into the sides of the cupboard (make sure they are set back from the front face, say 1" just to keep it simple)., have the shelf of 3/4" ply, and screw a batten under the front edge so it looks twice as thick as it really is. this conceals the side supports.
Believe me, it is easier to do than to describe!
Looks so good! I cannot say any advice but i would think that kind of cupboard could look fine even if it would have made from wood!But i like concrete as a material very much.

Volgnes mij is dit een typisch spaanse metseltechniek: stenen en dan wit laten stucen. Een plank meetsucen moet ook niet al te moeilik zijn..

Meestal gebruiken ze voor dit soort wandjes/kasten cellenbeton-blokken waarover dan inderdaad stuc gezet wordt (vaak: ´Griekse´ stuc, d.w.z. een beetje ruw, wat meer met de losse hand erop gezet, niet te strak). De betonblokken (zijn vrij licht) worden met lijm tegen elkaar gezet/geplakt. In een Ariadne stond ooit eens een badkamermeubel, zelfgemaakt op deze zelfde manier.

Wat Marjolijn zegt, zo hebben wij dat ook gedaan met de vakkenkast waar onze tv boven hangt . In de middelste vakken twee steigerhouten planken .
Moet je even terug kijken op m'n blog , dan kom je de kast wel tegen .

Glad you liked our building! The color we painted the concrete floor with it´s a light gray two component floor paint. Three coats you get paint on it to be really tough.

volgens mij kan het nooit met celbetonblokken, die hebben steun nodig! en dit is zo'n lange afstand, volgens mij heb je die geeneens in celbetonblok, dan breken ze.
Ik heb zo'n meubel in de badkamer maar dan met vakken en dat is gemaakt van celbeton met tegels erover.
Ik denk dit van ander materiaal is gemaakt en de buitenkant gestuct
om deze look te krijgen.
I would love to make something that like, in the open - it's different. I have to admit I like the exterior of the house too it looks relaxing where is it located?
