Wooden ornaments

I mentioned those wooden ornament before in some previous posts. They have this great aged look, the paint is gone of a little and sometimes it has different colors. I am not really collecting them but sometimes you can find real beauties, mostly parts of old cabinets. I thought the idea of making candle holders from them is a great way of re-using those old parts.  

Ik schreef al eens eerder over houten ornamenten, onderdelen van kasten met zo'n mooi e vorm en een versleten verfje erop. Soms kom je hele mooie tegen. Het idee om er kandelaars van te maken maakt ze bovendien ook nog eens functioneel.  

Des chandeliers transformer des ancien ornemants en bois. Un bonne idee n'est ce pas?
