Last october when I was at the 'Woonbeurs' I made the above picture of this little wall.... I just love it. It reminds me of a sunny day at the seaside. The wood looks like it has been on the beach for ages, touched by sand and sea, or only yesterday was part of a piece of furniture. I had to think about it after reading Sarah's post where she writes about putting up new wallpaper at the Beach Cottage. Because..... this is wallpaper !

Een muur met grote houten deuren als hierboven heeft ook niet iedereen. En als je dan ook niet zo'n oude verweerde schutting (buiten bij Combitex) vindt dan koop je dus gewoon (of na even sparen) het behang van Studio Ditte

Or to find an old wooden fence like the one outside this shop.
But you could also buy wallpaper from Studio Ditte and make your own scrap wood wall.

Ik heb nog een witte wand aan het hoofdeind van mijn bed, waarvan ik nog steeds niet weet wat ik ermee wil gaan doen. Dit is wel een idee, vooral die "oude houten deuren" lijkt me wel wat. Heb al eens gedacht aan een foto van een kerkinterieur, maar vond dat misschien toch iets te...:o) Wie weet. bedankt voor de inspiratie Dees!

I almost, almost made a post about this wall today, incredible. I read about it a couple of weeks ago and I found the Ideas both innovative and exciting. The effect is very catchy!!
Another things, you told me about a repotage in JDL, did I miss it? I could not find it, just about the Belgian woman, who operate the brocante shop "Haute Brocante".
